
Despite a slump in new and used car sales, the UK's leading provider of vehicle warranty, GAP, MOT & Tyre insurance products, Car Care Plan has unveiled promising sales for the year to date.
The Yorkshire-based provider of car warranty programmes has seen a four per cent increase in its sales so far in 2008, compared to the same period in 2007, with warranty plans proving the biggest seller amongst dealers.
Despite seeing fewer customers purchasing new cars, it seems many dealers are increasing their revenue by selling added-value products which allow them to build relations with customers and can help customer retention.
Increased consumer demand for high quality, reliable vehicles, coupled with the need for motorists to manage their everyday budgets has meant that dealers are finding car warranty plans more appealing than ever before.
In recent months, Car Care Plan has added a plethora of new clients to its roster of dealerships and implemented a series of training programmes to help inform dealers about the value that quality plans can bring which have helped the provider bolster its sales. The company has also expanded its business into Central and Eastern Europe over recent months to further develop Car Care Plan's portfolio of clients.
